Obtaining Us Visa At Us Consulate In Ba

Has anyone had to obtain/renew a US work visa at the US consulate in BA? I'm wondering about wait times, ease of getting an appointment and proficiency with non-Argentine passports/documentation etc.

I'm coming to BA for a few months to wait out my US visa requirements - and enjoy wonderful BA while my OH slaves away in the BA branch of his office :D.
