Such a relief to see that this was resolved with no loss of life.
Although, I believe the husband hostage received some nasty injuries.
It must have been terrifying for them and I hope they recover from the ordeal.
We were watching it on TV, especially as we only live a few blocks away.
When the special forces bloke took one of the criminals down from behind, I found it hard to believe that the commentator on TV questioned why the criminal was 'being kicked' by an operative.
I dare say he will not have been handled with kid gloves at the police station.
Scum, the both of them.

If I am not mistaken, all of the criminals were minors...which means that they won't spend even one day behind bars.
