Opera & Symphony in BsAs...

I heard that the famous Opera house was under renovation, and therefore closed for an indeterminate amount of time. Is this correct? If so, where can I see symphony/opera performances here in the city?

You are absolutely right, the colón Theatre is closed for renovations, so the whole 2007 Opera season will be held at the Coliseo Theatre. Address: Marcelo T. de Alvear 1125 (corner of 9 de Julio). This is a beautiful theatre.
