Orthodontist recommendation?

Hola,

does anybody have a good orthodontist recommendation? I went to see a few, but so far I've been shocked by how much they charge!

Really? I've found their prices quite reasonable. I actually came here to get braces because I couldn't afford it in Europe. $1500 for a full 2-year treatment compared to $5000 at home!

Maybe you're getting the gringo tax. I think I got it too when I was quoted 100 pesos for a consultation over the phone, which had increased to 150 by the time I left the office.

I haven't chosen one yet, so I'm also interested to know if anyone has a recommendation.
