Yes but.. it could also mean the fruits were hand polished with a rug to remove dirt and dust. I choose this option.Shiny could mean waxed or coated in substances to make them more attractive, of course, extend shelf life, stop giving off ethylene, or whatever, and those substances may be harmful.
Not seen yet fruits in Argentina wax coated or with other substances.
This place has mangos, grapes pineapples, kiwi, blueberries, lime, superb bananas from Ecuador.
