Papel Manteca / Parchment Paper

I think Cocina con Valentio has it Viamonte 758, C1053 Cdad. Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Did you check Dona Clara? they are still the go to for baking and quality cooking supplies. On Corrientes.
I checked Doña Clara's website, but I don't know if I'm ready to commit to 40mil worth of papel manteca, just in case it's not good. I'll check the other one, though, thanks!

I have tried on Mercado without much luck of the real restaurant duty heavy aluminium foil
But I'll check the area you mentioned next time I am in CABA, Jujuy 1200-1600.

You will find all of those things in Mercado Libre and also in the gastronomic stores in Avenida Pavon, in Boedo. As well as extra strong plastic film and premium (heavy duty) aluminum film for cooking.

My question was equally a question about what brands' papel manteca actually work sas it was about where to get them, so just searching for papel manteca on ML or showing up to a gastronomic store without knowing anything about the brands wouldn't solve my issue.

About aluminum foil I've messaged them asking more details, I've also tried to messaging hormonal and alumax (the manufacturer). I haven't had much luck. But I'm hoping if I go to dinner stores I can get some definitive answers of what might be available.

I'd recommend seeing what others use in terms of parchment/butter paper that works. No need to test out every brand.

I would think at Dona Clara they would actually know a lot about what works, and what is available in Argentina. They are not like a Target or Aldis, where the hourly employees punch in and out and know little about the stock.
I have had very good luck learning from specialty retailers in Argentina- in areas as varied as industrial sewing machines, rope, leatherworking tools, cookware, kitchen knives, work clothing, electronic supplies, threads and notions, plumbing parts, office furniture, 3d printing, fabrics, nurseries, stone cutting, hardware, upholstery, or power tools- the retailers, the guys and gals who have worked in family owned businesses all their lives, have repeatedly made good recomendations to me, steered me to the right products, and, often, recomended cheaper choices.

Thanks I'll check it out next time I'm in CABA.
Those same stores usually sell their merchandise in Mercado Libre as well. I imagine that you can get better advise in person. I see they are located more exacly along Av. Jujuy in the area from Garay to Av. San Juan

Just saw this thread, I too have difficulty finding real parchment paper (without traveling to CABA). Most sold is nothing more than waxed paper. I finally found some at a party supply store (cotillon?). The brand is Alumax and is called 'Papel Manteca Familiar'. It's only 30cm wide but does the job.

Also got a LARGE roll of good aluminum foil, heavier than what the chino sells but not what I'd consider 'heavy duty'. I was unaware that ML sells by thickness. Thanks!
