Pay with foreign debit/credit card in Mi Argentina?

Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to pay a tramite (in this case, a passport) in Mi Argentina with a foreign debit/credit card? The payment page asks for all of the usual details but also a "numero de documento" which I would assume means a DNI (which I don't have). I have entered my wife's DNI but when I submit the payment, the system rejects it. My guess is that one simply can't use a foreign card (wouldn't surprise me as this is Argentina after all :rolleyes:) or the system cross-checks the DNI number versus the name of the card holder.

FYI for anybody else who tries to use this system - I have confirmed that only a local Argentinian debit/credit card can be used to make a payment.
