I really like dancing chacarera and other Argentine dances, so I thought it would be nice to start a thread with ideas and recommendations!
  • Patio provinciano in San Telmo, on Balcarce and Umberto Primo. Sundays from 15:00 onwards, seems to end around 23 or 24. Really relaxed and fun.
  • A new to me place: Pulpería Quilapán, Defensa 1344. Open every day, but have classes (chacarera, gato, zamba) on Thursdays at 19:30. (Free but you are encouraged to give something.) I have really been enjoying this place. It feels like being in San Antonio de Areco or something. Food is good too, especially the bread.

There are lots of places but would be nice with personal recommendations if you have any. Cheers!

I haven't persoanlly been although I have gone by hundreds of times
La Pena del Colorado on Guemes I'm not into folklore but those who are and have been enjoyed it!
