Snow Patrol are local boys from my home. I will try and find out if this rumour is true, Guest list yes please. ;-)

The rumor I read was here: http://www.proyectounder.com/notas/2483/dos-nuevos-festivales-internacionales-en-la-ciudad

But Snow Patrol's site says they've played their last gig of (their?) summer, so maybe it's not happening after all, bummer: http://www.snowpatrol.com/news/default.aspx?nid=29409

So how much are the tickets?

For the RATM/QOTSA ticket (campo), I paid 200 pesos. VIP was I believe about 300 pesos, and then there were the multi-day tickets to see RATM/QOTSA + Green Day, for example, for a bit more. The info should be on the web site I linked in my original post.

wow that's expensive

Yeah, I guess it's not exactly cheap... But it's more affordable than what you'd pay to see bands of that magnitude stateside. I'm paying US$75 to see Muse in New York next month, and I can't remember paying anything less than US$50 for top-tier bands anywhere the past five years.

FYI - they just announced a whole bunch of new bands for the Pepsi Music Festival today, almost all of them Argentine bands -- and some other South American acts. I've been checking some of them out and I like what I hear. Excited to be hearing a great mix of local and international bands next month...
