.....so what about this idea. A travel agent that can offer his client a supply of travel dollars is the travel agent who is going to get business. So for those who have regular dollar income why not explore a relationship with a travel agent and you just might get premium conversion rates. That travel agent might not worry about paying the highest conversion rate as long as they make a profit acting as a ticket agent. Am I missing something here? (usually am)

The Alleged Travel Entrepreneur would buy my dollars at a higher price than the Cueva ? to sell to ticket buyers lower than the Cuevas? Correct?

I dont know anyone who has used a travel agent in 20 years, and today over 75% of all airline bookings are online. I suppose rich people still use travel agents to book luxury hotels- but its not exactly a growth industry. In most countries, there are half or 1/3 as many travel agents today as there used to be, and they mostly focus on things like package tours and cruises, where they can hide a markup.
And For-Ex, the money changing business, is a pretty low margin, high risk industry.
Why would anyone want to combine the two? Lose more money faster?

Maybe Thomas Cook could take on your idea, and make a big comeback?
