The founder of Palantir, the data processing company, arrives in Argentina after his visit to Rome to talk about the Antichrist

This "German-US billionaire investor" is more Nazi than German. Not to mention bat sh*t crazy. He and and family lived in apartheid South Africa and modern-day Namibia from 1971-1977. It is important to note where he and family lived while in South Africa. And I quote Wikipedia: "...the Thiel family lived in South Africa and South West Africa (modern-day Namibia) in the time of apartheid. Peter changed elementary schools seven times. He attended a German-language school in Swakopmund for two years that required students to wear uniforms and employed corporal punishment, such as striking students' hands with a ruler. He said this experience instilled a distaste for uniformity and regimentation later reflected in his support for individualism and libertarianism. The German community in Swakopmund was known at the time for its continued glorification of Nazism."

Look out, Argentina! A ZEDE is coming this way! From Wikipedia: "Employment and Economic Development (ZEDEs): In Honduras, ZEDEs are being developed as privately managed, chartered areas with their own laws, police, and courts, backed by figures like Thiel"

Seems like Thiel bought a $12.5M mansion in the fancy part of Palermo. Normally that would indicate a desire to stick around, but if you're sitting on $26B, it might just be a whim.
He had said something recently about Argentina being the best possibility for a stable Libertarian government, so he may intend to throw his money around in coming elections... 😑

I remember reading about "Galt's Gulch" in Chile years ago. It seems an ongoing interest for these guys to run this experiment in South America.

The property, located at 2900 Dardo Rocha Street, right in front of Susana Giménez’s mansion, has about 1,600 square meters of covered space—an exceptional size for local residential architecture.
