Exposición Ojo de Pez

Anyone interested in checking out a great photo exposition, check out the link below.

Ojo de Pez is the photography division of the NGO where I work, Centro Conviven, based in Mataderos. They do excellent work and the students, needless to say, love it. The exhibition consists of photographs made by the youths themselves, all of which live in "La Ciudad Oculta," on the border of Mataderos and Villa Lugano. Last year's show was excellent--it is incredible the work these kids do.

I actually haven't been to this year's yet, but I will be going on Wednesday around 7pm. If anyone else is going to go on Wednesday or would care to join me specifically, let me know.

The exhibition is in Centro, Perú 160, in the Buenos Aires City Legislature Building (la legislatura de la Ciudad Autónima de Buenos Aires, en la sala de exposiciones). The show goes from the 27th of August to the 10th of September. The hours I'm not sure of exactly, sorry, but I think it is open all day until 8:30pm. I'll look into this and check.

Thanks for posting this, it's a nice little exhibition.
For those thinking of stopping by - the building is at the end (beginning) of pedestrian-only Florida St (which is called Peru at that point).
After finding #160, go down the stairs and through the glass doors on your left to find the gallery.
