Italian-Argentine architect and engineer Francisco Salamone developed more than 60 buildings throughout the small towns of Buenos Aires Province.

If you havent gone and seen any of these, you should. Salamone did much more than just cemeteries- in most towns, he did the city hall, the community slaughterhouse, the cemetery, and sometimes the central square. Personally, I think the best thing written about Salamone was this essay, by a US college professor.

I have rented a car a couple of times and gone on Salamone trips- you drive to the central square of the tiny towns, like Saldungaray, or Rauch, and ask the jubilado sitting on the park bench- where is the slaughterhouse? where is the cemetery? and they tell you where to go.
Usually, the Municipalidads are pretty obvious.
