Speak to me of the best place to buy them.

The supermarkets near me have the sweet pickles which are good but at 16 pesos a small jar, not cheap. And while I like sweet pickles, I also am craving a good kosher dill pickle.

Where is the best place to buy? And in larger quantities? I eat them - a lot:eek:

Please tell me too! I have tried just about every brand I've seen mentioned and they're all sweet!

I mentioned before that Carrefour has some agridulce pickles from Poland. The two that were above the liquid line weren't that great, but all of the rest below the liquid like were just slightly sweater than dill pickles. These were small whole pickles, not spears.

The Carrefour was the one on Libertador in Vicente Lopez just outside of C.A.B.A. I don't know if other ones carry them, but they were DEFINITELY imported from Poland.

Sleuth, don't forget to order a kilo of ice cream delivery when you run out to get the pickles.

The only ones I've found that are not sweet, are the small vinegar ones that are near the olives. Not dill, but the best so far. I've found these at Disco and Carrefour and they are in plastic with a simple black and white label.

Luckily, I'm in the States now and devouring turkey sandwiches with red onions and Vlassic dill spears!

And yes, the pickles and ice cream may come soon. :)

I think in super market you will get.You can try online shopping for that.

Generally there are jars of small sour pickles called cornichons near the olives. No dill, but quite good.
