Plant Question

Are there any plant people here? Has anyone planted Santa Rita vines here? We've got walls around our farm and I'd like to plant some, they're pretty and bonus - thorns for added security But I'm worried it might get too cold for them. We have some ampelopsis vines planted already and they're growing but I need to do a bunch more next spring and I'm thinking what the best options are.

They grow just fine. I have three varieties of them growing along the walls of my balcony!
