Poverty in Argentina falls to lowest level since 2018

Which is weird; people asking me for money in Villa Crespo are getting more and more insistent lately.
I think I need to start keeping cash at the ready; my Argentine friends often give them a little something, but I don't like to get my wallet out of my bag in this situation.
How much do you guys usually give? Or do you?

I am very unspontaneous in those situations: I'm not taking out my wallet on the street, nor, if I'm in a car, am i winding down the window. Too much risk for me, just not going to happen, sorry, not sorry.

Hello Mageesa- I've never had any trouble giving anyone a few bills. But you can also buy and bring them food- a couple empanadas, this or that... Another way is to donate to one of the several feeding programs (comedores) in town. Thanks for caring. You're heart's in the right place. Big Hug

My pants have 2 pockets. I keep big bills in one and divide off little change into the other. It keeps my decision making safe and simple. More homeless in Parque Lezama today.
