Hey everyone, quick question regarding immigration law and the precaria.

I've got some travel back home coming up shortly. On April 25th, I put in my request to renew my precaria, but still haven't had that approved. Knowing how slow things can move here, I wanted to make sure: since I've already put the request in to renew my precaria, am I good to leave the country and come back? (month long trip, nothing crazy), or do I need to go to sede central and make sure this thing gets renewed and updated in the system before my flight? Thanks everyone in advance.

I would recommend going to the office. I think they would be able to renew it in the spot. If your lucky they might actual check the stage and status of the process and approve it.

Do not leave the country without it renewed. They will cancel it if the system shows you out of the country at the time they process the renewal.
Agreed. I'm currently on a precaria and the guy said that I can come and go from the country as I please as long as I'm not out of the country when the precaria is expires

We have renewed precarias 3 times over the last three years, every time it took about 90 days, and thats with lawyers walking it thru. Migraciones moves very very slow.
