Prices Properties Are Finally Falling: The Right To Buy?

I would wait too until the end of 2015/first semester of 2016.

- BODEN 2015 (to be paid in oct. 2015) -> 5.800.000.000 USD
- 2005/2010 restructured debt ->1.400.000.000 USD for 2014 (almost paid I guess? depends on Griesa) + 1.800.000.000 USD for 2015
- Agreement with the Vultures (if any) -> ?? 500.000.000 to 1.000.000.000 USD?
- Debt to be repaid in 2016 -> 3.600.000.000 USD
- Debt to be repaid in 2017 -> 4.500.000.000 USD
- Debt to be repaid in 2018 -> 3.300.000.000 USD

And if the soja production is not good, it will be worst.

The fanatical obsession with owning property here comes from the fact that it is the only place to put ones cash - both literally and figuratively.

That's definitely true if your money is here and you can't get it out of Argentina due to currency restrictions and/or you need a place to stash all of your undeclared income and you don't have enough for the guys in the Seychelles to take you seriously.

Well, that kind of describes about 90% of the argentine population, and, curiously enough, the buyers of argentine real estate are overwhelmingly argentine.
So the reason prices remain relatively stable is because the locals all have money here and can't get it out easily.
And there is no likelihood of that changing anytime soon.
