Actually the Herald is right

The first QE1 only ruled in England , before the Union of Parliament and the thrones.

She was a bad Queen who imprisoned our wonderful Mary , Queen of Scots , as she was scared of the competition

Lizzie is Queen Lizzie I of the whole of the UK!
