We've been here 3 months, and our almost 4 year old daughter has outgrown all her shoes. We purchased some outrageously expensive running-type shoes at Mimo which fell apart after 6 weeks. We then purchased two pairs of inexpensive (= cheap) shoes at two different independent stores last weekend. One is already in the garbage, and the other won't last long. Any recommendations for shoes which can stand the strain of being used by an active child? As a side note, what is with the extensive use of laces and buckles on kids shoes here? Isn't my life as a parent hard enough without this? Velcro was invented a while ago, Argentina!
