Hello everyone. First post here, please be gentle. I moved down here in mid-April from England, to write about Argentine football for any English-language publications who'll have me (and slightly bizarrely, for a Finnish editor as well), as well as my own blog, which I don't want to spam on my first visit so if you'd like to check it out you'll find the address in my profile.
I'm living, for the moment - probably quite a long moment - in San Telmo, and whilst I've enjoyed it and am settling in just fine, I've only got one other friend who I'm able to see anything like regularly (I have a local friend, also a journalist, but he recently became a father and lives up in Belgrano so understandably doesn't have loads of time to meet up).
I thought I'd sign up here because it seems like a good place to hear about activities and whatnot. And if anyone fancies going for a drink in San Telmo (or to dance salsa anywhere in the city), do get in touch.
