Hi,
My girlfriend's visa expires at the end of August and we will need to go to migraciones to extend it. It's a real visa (from Taiwan), not a 90 day stamp type you can renew just by leaving the country and re-entering. Our understanding is that it can be renewed once. Any advise about going there and the procedure? How early do we need to get there? Are there English speaking officers? Are they going to ask her why she wants to extend it, or is it just simple paperwork? Since we don't know what to expect we're nervous about it.
Thanks in advance.
