Hi guys,

As an ex-pat living in BA, I'm more and more thinking about renting a camper with my family the moment restrictions lift (a bit). Anyone knows if it's already possible to travel between provinces and where to buy/rent second-hand campers?

Travel between provinces will be one of the last things that they open up. Most areas outside of Buenos Aires have very few cases of Coronavirus. So it doesn't make sense to let potential disease carriers spread around the country.

The south is very cold in winter and the wind chill factor is fearsome.

Not even really winter yet, and the temps there are fearsome. Look down the page a bit at the next 2 weeks forecast, mostly daytime highs of 4-6c and overnight lows just an RCH above freezing.
No. Thank. You.

Rio Gallegos, the capital of Santa Cruz, is only marginally warmer. Daytime highs of 7-8 degrees forecast for next 2 weeks, and nights as cold as Ushuaia.

As usual, elhombresinnombre knows whereof he speaks.
