I have a bunch of questions regarding money, heath care (Tricare overseas) length of stay (visa) and a good neighborhood to stay. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank, Chuck

what about ATMs in Uruguay? Dispense $100s?

If you enter the key words of your question(s) in the search engine you will get the information much faster than if you wait for someone else to provide an answer.

For example, here are the results of the search (in posts only) of the words "ATMS Uruguay $100s" (using "advanced" search):

It's easy to scroll through the posts to find the information you are seeking as the key words will be highlighted.

ATMs in Colonia do provide 100 dollar bills ONLY-
You can get 3 x 300 USD (900) each day per card, so it is better if you bring more than one card, so you do not have to travel so often, capish mate?

Daily limit depends on your card, withdrawal limit is indeed 300USD per withdrawal (and you can withdraw daily up to your card limit, per increments of 300USD)

After working at a bank I realized the ATM limit can be an arbitrary number. Add a zero in the system and the $500 limit goes to $5000. Most banks will raise it significantly if you request it in advance and have the funds.
