Sunday, January 21st @ 3:00 pm – Argentine Documentary “The Take”
Also join us this Sunday to watch “The Take”, a political thriller that follows Argentina's radical new movement of occupied businesses. Movie will be shown on the clubhouse's large screen TV. So escape the heat and the chaos of the Feria in San Telmo and relax on our couch as you watch this educational film. Free for members and 3 pesos ($1 USD) for non-members.
Monday, January 22nd @ 8:00 pm – Pub Quiz Night
Start brushing up on your "useless knowledge" and get your teams ready for SAE's inaugural pub quiz night in Palermo. Basically, everyone will sit around at cozy bar and have a few drinks, we'll ask some intriguing and challenging trivia questions and then you and your team will amaze us with your always entertaining and brilliant responses. Feel free to show up with your team (minimum of 2 and maximum of 4 people) or come by yourself and we'll help scout out the smartest people in the room to form some teams. Tuesday, January 23rd @ 11:30 am – Yoga at the Clubhouse
Rejuvenate your heat-exhausted body at our invigorating yoga class. Take a break from the hot and hectic Buenos Aires streets and work up a sweat by doing something besides taking the subte! In English. Please RSVP to the clubhouse at [email protected] or 4307 – 9625. 6 pesos ($2 USD) for members and 12 pesos ($4 USD) pesos for non-members.
Wednesday, January 24th @ 1:30 pm – Bicycle Tour with La Bicicletas Naranja (meet at clubhouse)
Get some exercise and see the city at the same time with an always educational and entertaining bicycle tour with Bicicletas Naranjas. We'll head north to discover the "gems" of Palermo on the back of a bike. Members (54 pesos/$18 USD). Non-members come and feel what it's like to be treated as an SAE member with a reduced rate of (60 pesos/$20 USD). Please RSVP to the clubhouse at [email protected] or 4307-9625. Space is limited!
Friday, January 26th @ 4:00 pm– Australia Day Afternoon Tea (meet at clubhouse) G'day Mate! Celebrate Australia Day with our local Aussies with a traditional afternoon tea. We'll get the Vegemite sandwiches ready! Free for Australians
and 2 pesos ($1.70ish) for non-Aussies.
