https://grabr.io/en/ maybe I used to use it all the time before Amazon was available. I did a computer once. I never had problems. With all the current (constant) madness here have any of you had problems receiving packages. My Godson needs a new, very specific movie camera (incredibly expensive here) to begin his film career.
DW - IMO, by sending a camera here you are asking for trouble with Argie customs (Aduana) which has a reputation for often being problematic [sorry Afrikonner]. They can tie you up asking for full value import taxes; or they can demand original receipts; or the item can be, 'lost'; or you will need multiple trips to Ezeiza .... etcetera. Irrespective of the rules and regulations, Aduana can make your life difficult. My Argie friends tell me that Aduana employees drive some of the nicest cars and always have money to spend. With all the current (constant) madness here have any of you had problems receiving packages. Yes, the overall outlook looks pretty grim. The options don't inspire much confidence. Thanks so much, Richard.DW - IMO, by sending a camera here you are asking for trouble with Argie customs (Aduana) which has a reputation for often being problematic [sorry Afrikonner]. If you have a Grabr account, (https://grabr.io/en/) and have experience with someone whom you can trust, you can contact them and ask them to bring the camera for a fee. For precisely your scenario, I use only two people from Grabr to buy and bring items from the USA. I have used them for a long time and so I trust them to ferry items in their luggage for a fee; items that did not need to be purchased via Grabr. The individuals received the package(s) in the USA and brought them here. Easy as pie. Others likely have a different opinion. This is what I do. Good luck.

Theft security and customs cost aside, I would not attempt to mail something so fragile without it being insured by a reputable shipping company (i.e. Fed Ex, UPS). Have you looked into whether this camera could be purchased in a neighboring country to Argentina? With all the current (constant) madness here have any of you had problems receiving packages. this is assuming you have level 3 fiscal, which requires permanent residency. (and its not automatic, you have to fill out forms to get level 3)I have used AA CARGO system for years without any trouble.
First you open an P O BOX with them in their warehose in Miami
Then you ship to your specific box in there
Declare electronically the item(s), attach the bill(s), weight, dims, etc
They will calculate the shipping costs plus taxes, if any.
Then use PAYPAL ,CC ,etc to pay the total bill
Then you will receive the package to your door(or you can pick it up
at Aeroparque)
Only new items, no guns, drugs, etc
See their page in the NET
