This isn't a harem-scarem topic just a notice on what is going on.

I just find it odd as Santander own Abbey National and Natwest (Two of the UK's biggest banks) and so calling it a 'Spanish' or 'Latino' problem seems weird to me - I'd guess that the Latino element of the bank is propping up the Euro end and is being victimised due to it,

The problems here aren't just problem here to me, they are a reaction to the problems elsewhere.
