At my school, St.Hilda's College, we have had several expat students who have joined secondary with little or no Spanish and thrived in the friendly and academic environment. By the end of one year they will have learnt a lot of Spanish. My two sons aged 4 and 5 are now bilingual after a year and a half at the school although it took longer than expected due to it being such an excellent English Kindergarten with all teachers speaking English. They've learnt the majority of their Spanish in the playground.
Other than the Lincoln College you are unlikely to find a school that offers a Northern Hemisphere school year.
