Seeking historical records of my father's life in 1930s Buenos Aires

My father lived in BA in the 1930s. He obviously loved the place and wrote many entries in his journal about holidays in Bariloche etc. But I have virtually no information on his BA life.

The only 'lead' is that he was a member of the "Club Anglo-Americano" in Tucuman

I can see that there is a modern day sporting club of the same name, but its not clear if there is any link.

Does anyone have any ideas of places where i could research this when in BA? I am coming in early January...

I always read about the “archivo general de la nación” having huge amount of records for genealogy purposes. Also try to research info on “sucesiones” here https://www.argentina.gob.ar/interi...on/solicitar-copias-de-expedientes-sucesorios

You might want to try the Immigrant Museum in BA. MUNTREF. His name could be in a list of arriving passengers.
And there's the Buenos Aires Museum, (BAM). This is in the heart of Sant Telmo neighborhood.
January is the worst time to be in BA., so I doubt you'll be able to make any headway specially in three days time.
And if he worked at the Bank of London in BA you might want to stop by their building.
Apparently the bank's archives are now at the University of London. Good luck.
