Settlement in Tierra del Fuego

Hi there!

I am a physician and want to move out from my country since I don't like its current political environment which has been going on for about a decade. I've read that settlement in TDF expedites the process of getting Argentinian citizenship by waiving the 2-year residency requirement. Unfortunately, the province does not have a university which offers any program relevant to my field.

What are the ways for getting a visa that allows me to settle there and continue learning Spanish in the environment until I naturalize and start my residency in a university?

This pathway simply does not work and you have been misinformed. Tierra Del Fuego is now a province, no longer a territory. In any case under the recent immigration reform the minimum requirement is to live in Argentina for 2 years without leaving 1 day, legally with DNI in hand.

I would also suggest visiting there before making up your mind. I’ve found it depressing over there. Ushuaia especially.
