Shipping large item to the US.

What is the most reliable and cost effective method to ship furniture from Buenos Aires to the United States? The furniture (dining room table and chairs) was purchased in Bs.As. for personal use.

Unless it's something very unique or very expensive you're probably better off selling it here and just buying new furniture in the states.. The cost of shipping, the possibility of damage, hassles involved, would not make it worth the effort in my opinion.

I tend to agree with Goucho Bob. I wouldn't attempt to move anything that didn't have great dollar or sentimental value.
