Did anyone on here ship things (not packages), containers of things from living up here in USA down to Argentina? I know that there are companies that do containers and ship by sea, but how much does it cost to send maybe 20 moving boxes of things and is it complicated with customs and all that fun stuff? I know Argentina is a bitch on imports and exports....

Many have...this should help give you an idea. I don't think anyone can really give you a fair estimate, since that depends on the company, the method, the weight restrictions, what you're carrying in those boxes, etc.

There are a couple of them in Miami, we usually use pampa moving. give them a call 17866122759. They deliver stuff to your door, bypass all the aduana bs for you. There is no weight restriction shipping by boat. One box is about $150 There is also other one, called embarques rio la plata. Google it, i don't have a number on me. But my friends are using it, whenever we need some goodies, we just order on amazon and they take care of the rest. Hipe it helps

I used Andreani when I moved here in 2008. I had two Commercial Bin boxes.
From NYC to BA it cost me a little over U$D 1.000. I didn't have to go to customs or anything.
The two boxes arrived unopened delivered by a moving truck to the house were I was staying.
