A related question: is there an online resource that shows which drugs are available over the counter vs require a prescription?

Farmacity requires prescription for all antibiotics as well as Sildenafil. Most Pharmacies have a posted sign indicating prods, that need prescription.
Smaller Pharmacies sell most antibiotics without prescription .

Actually, for future readers of this post: I decided to go ahead and check out some smaller mom-n-pop pharmacies to see what the policy was, and the first one I found sold Sildenafil over the counter. I haven't tried farmacity or any of the other bigger pharmacies, but I probably won't even bother now that I know I can get them at a smaller place.

I don't want to give out the name in case it's not exactly legal but just try your luck at a smaller pharmacy!

This is Argentina, where maybe most things are not exactly legal. I haven't deeply researched this, but I've been told Farmacity operates in borderline illegality by not having a qualified pharmacist at every outlet as required by the law (which is why it operates only in friendly / easily-bought jurisdictions like CABA). Smaller places will happily sell you antibiotics (which are supposed to be prescription-only) / Cialis / Viagra / morning-after pills or whatever you need without too many questions. Lots of places like that around, like in Palermo and surrounding areas. Pay cash and make life easier for everyone. And do your research if you're self-medicating.
