I'll be arriving on the June 9th and I am looking for fun activities in recoleta. My son is 8 years old and doesn't speak spanish, he loves tennis and soccer. He is ready for "dulce de leche" and "alfajores", but he needs some kids activities too. He wants to know if there is "4th of July"? and fireworks. I doubt it.

The closest thing to 4th of July happened today when Argentina celebrated its 200 years with parades, music and fireworks. The celebrations have been going on for a week. Christmas eve and new years are also celebrated with lots of fireworks. Things to do with kids; you can check the city's website:
