I am planning on moving to BA with my boyfriend who is from Argentina.

I am looking for a job. Preferably in hospitality and tourism as I have experience in that industry.

May I suggest you ask your boyfriend what he knows about the immigration laws in Argentina, specifically, how long you can stay without getting (at least) temporary residency?

Getting a job will be difficult unless your employer can "prove" to migraciones that you can do something which Argentine can't.

I remember posts from one member here that she couldn't keep her job working in a hostel because she couldn't get a DNI and her employer was unable to "sponsor" her.

How enthusiastically does your boyfriend react to the "C" word?

If he "tests positive" when you ask, you'll bed able to get permanent residency, a DNI, and then go job hunting to your heart's delight.
