I agree with the recommendations for cocina sunae, sudestada and green curry. I've had some good meals at green bamboo too, and if India counts as South Asian, Taj Majal on Nicaragua can give you a nice spice fix if you ask for picante.

Yes i think it's called Lotus Neo Thai and it is excellent!! I went for the cheap(er) lunch special as it's rather expensive. It wasn't the typical dishes I'm used to but they had their own great version of chicken satay and pad thai, really worth it. I heard it's very popular with the staff at the Thai embassy.
