Stable dollar, booming exports - Why is Milei so unpopular?

While the headline clearly says "booming exports", there is no reference to exports in the text.
Exports are indeed up-
$16 billion usd more than last year-
and its just a few things
maize,soybeans, meat, crude oil and lithium.

none of which are creating any new jobs, or helping the vast majority of argentines.
Many of these categories are actually profiting foreign investors, or a few very wealthy families.
 
Milei cares about salary priced in dollars.
The people care about salary priced in local purchasing power.
Argentina, like many other countries right now, is experiencing an affordability crisis.

Milei acted quickly to accomplish his mandate, but he overcompensated. Even just a modicum of fiscal flexibility would curry him some favor from disenfranchised voters but all we can expect is more fanatical rigidity like the current unconstitutional "standoff" on University funding.
