How do people think the Strauss-Kahn affair (pun intended) would be handled had it happened in Argentina?

We would have been hit much harder than in the USA-probably he would have been crucified on Plaza de Mayo. You seem to forget that he is for many politicians in Argentina the public enemy number 1, the boss of the FMI!

If it was a local politician working with the government, nothing would have happened, the judges would have declared him innocent on a technicality or the issue made linger for a while until it expired.
If it was an opposition politician, he would have gotten flogged in public.

If it had happened in Argentina he would be home, nobody would have stopped him, the judge would have declared him innocent plus he would have received some apologies for being questioned at the airport I suppose.

He would probably never had the chance to even get into the plane! The efficiency of our piquetes and the paro Ezeiza staff would efficiently stop this piece of crap to leave the country.

Hello
I absolutely agree that the most agressive measures we have are the piquetes and also strikes at the airports are highly effective!!
