So I really want to go see Sleeping Beauty on the 2nd. I've never been to the colon before and have a few questions.

It says that on the website that the sales open to the public tomorrow. How hard will it be to get a pair of platea seats? Is this the kind of thing that I should be lining up for at 6 am? Is there a price list somewhere? I couldn't find one, how much should I expect to pay? I've heard conflicting things about the dress code, do I have to wear a tie (ugh)?

Thanks!

To buy the ticket you can go to the ticket office, on Tucuman street or buy it online:

https://www.tuentrada.com/colon/Online/
wich you access through
http://www.teatrocolon.org.ar/es/
when you click "Adquiera sus localidades".

I think you will have to wear a tie, but I prefer to advise you to call the ticket office and ask them for more accurate information.

Enjoy the performance and the Teatro Colon. Try to search some info about it history and architecture on line to enjoy it more!!

Thanks! Is it possible to find out the prices before the tickets go on sale tomorrow?

Last Friday 6/17 (Puccini´s Opera) the platea seat costed 800 pesos. It was very nice and I thank the invitation!
