How do you embed a video?

This is particularly embarrassing, since I remember doing it once, and now I can't recall how. Premature senility, I suppose. Well, maybe not all that premature, but hey...

where is the video from and where do you want to embed to?
on this forum, you copy the youtube link underneath the video where it says share and it embeds automatically. youtube can also give you an embed code.
