Go on migraciones website. Go to the part to check the status of trámite.

Estado de tu trámite Migraciones, Solicitud de Renovación de Certificado de Residencia Precaria
www.migraciones.gov.ar www.migraciones.gov.ar

Enter your expediente número and all the details will show. This is what the immigrations officer will do as well. They actually go to the same publicly available website. With the No de expediente you can actually see everything, including the resolución and reprint it even.

Based on that, will they let me through when I land at EZE?
 
Anyway I can get them to reject me and turn me around? So I can't enter Argentina?

The letter form the consulte is sufficient to be admitted. I wouldn’t worry. It demonstrates you are in the process of getting a permanent residence and the trámite is ongoing. This is a kind of precaria. This is more than sufficient to enter.
