Do Melba actually make chocolate chip cookies or just oreo copies.

They only make one cookie, but it's not really an Oreo knock-off. More malt in the chocolate mix.

I only mentioned Melbas because the poll question wasn't specific to chocolate chip cookies.

fair enough, i've added Melba to the options

I buy my cookies from one of a dozen neighborhood bakeries within walking distance. No BHT, no plastic packaging, they were made that day, and they taste better. I have different bakeries for different cookies- there are these squashed chocolate/ nut swirl things with no flour in em from a place down on Santa Fe that are wickedly addictive, for example.

Every time I have bought packaged cookies in Argentina, they have been truly disgusting.

Alfajores Cachafaz (mousse) are where it's at!

Toddy or Pepitos Chispas - I'm not that picky. The regular Pepitos I don't like at all though...

Usually eat these:

There's 2 cookies I really miss and wish they had here (or maybe they do and I've never seen them?).... [Says biscuit on the box, but they're cookies to me.]

So i've tried the new Toddy extra cookies today. Have to say although they're nice and chocolatey they are useless for dunking in tea. The extra chocolate melts in your fingers. Someone didn't think the design of them through!
