Is the theory the exchange rate is higher than it will be on Monday, because of election panic; LLA is going to win big and the rate will drop to 1200 or something?
Or the opposite, and it goes to 2000 so we should buy dollars today?
I'm not doing anything, but I'm curious about the 'buy pesos' scheme.

The voter surveys show that LLA may win by a few points (Chances less than 50 %) If I had pesos I would buy dollars. No panic.

According to my crystal Ball, the dollar Monday will open within the established top FX bracket, however during the week will start climbing requiring the US Treasury Intervention with fresh dollars. General consensus is that the dollar is undervalued even at $1500 plus.

If the dollar value were to drop like to $ 1200 would be a feed fest.

i have not seen any polls of the upcoming elections. What I have seen is a 2-1 ads for Milei vs opposition parties on USA sports on YT. I can only relate this to the USA networks (Fox) ... USA citizens can vote for local elections .... not Presidential from what I have been told. I can be wrong ... but appealing to the drunken/Alcohol influenced/subliminal I would believe can swing a close vote.

The official has been around the 1450-1500 mark for a good month now. It only went down a few times with the news of US intervention, which didn’t last long before it went back to the 1450-1500 mark.

If Milei wins, WU, the blue etc may go down to 1450 as a floor. But I don't see it "desinflando" much, as the spike hasn't been in the past week, it's been concistent over the last month, even as far back as June.
