Ministro Caputo said yesterday that $1500 was a fair value for the Dollar, so assuming he's being conservative to avoid panic, perhaps the dollar will see much higher values.

Assuming it's a one and done. The US Treasury would be smart to capitalize on the profit and call it a day. Tell US farmers the Treasury made a fortune and no hard feelings. However, something tells me that selling that many pesos for dollars would do things that Milei isn't quite prepared for. Namely, a sudden decrease in peso value as they unwind the intervention. Time will tell if Trump can see through Caputo's smokescreen.

Yeah they definitely can’t sell. The peso would sink.

That said, they had been telling Milei to let the peso float and maybe now is the time to do it.
