The price of lays...

I brought a bag of Doritos Sweet Chili Heat down for the flight in July and oh how I do regret inhaling them the first few days here.

There is so many things I already miss and it's only been a bit more than 2 months. I was never/haven't been a big chip fan but I miss Recee's and Barq's Rootbeet. Likely good for my health but I've replaced Recee's with Colfer Block, which in my humble opinion, is one of the few palatable Alfahoras in Arge.

Junk food SHOULD be expensive. Maybe the prices are the reason there aren't so many oversized tushies in Argentina. There are some, but you have to admit that tushie size in general is larger in North America.

Why should junk food be expensive for those of us without the tushies
Mind you Argentines eat unhealthy food in general so I think you'll find genetics is the main reason (I have put on a couple of kgs since being here).

I honestly don't get why lays are so expensive, it really must just be because they can (and supply demand...)

Okey now so combine the expat mentality with the fact we live in this country, why not start a chips company! Now who's with me this is a 10000000 $&dine idea. We'll make awesome chips sell them cheap, Make them localy thus people will love we'll get rich and laid. Hihi oh and youll get to eat awesome cheep chips

Even the promise of a millon dollars wouldn't entice me to start a business here. Just trying to get my place habilitated was a nightmare and I gave up when I was ripped off of my money. No, I don't want to end up in Borda hospital...

Have you tried the Tierra chips they now sell in some chinos. They are really good, a nice change and made from beetroot,yucca and other vegetables. I think they do trad potatoes as well. I used to buy them in Costco and it seems that they are now here.

I love root veg chips but alas I have never seen them here. They cost a lot in UK, how much are they selling for?
