So I got on the bike at 0545 and decided to catch the sunrise at 0715, somewhere, anywhere really and finally caught it at San Antonio de Areco (R8), where I enjoyed the first 100kms coffee, which is always worth waiting for.
Since it was such a lovely day, I continued on to Arrecifes and thence to Pergamino, for a rest and another coffee and what the hell, it was 11.30 and I had the whole day, so headed off to Venado Tuerto, where I worked back in the 70s.
I could have carried on to Rio Cuarto, but the kms were adding up, so returned at a leisurely pace, 750 kms later and a slightly sore rear end.
Lovely day out and all the freedom I would want.
