...someone posted a while back asking for the location for this place in Hollywood. I've tried to find he old thread but to no avail. Instead I'll post it here.

It is called Palo Santo on Bonpland 2215. Great place to find a unique gift.

Also, 3 doors down is another store Corchetes that sells bowls and other similar items made from cork.

I had a pair (lost it on vacation :() but second the recommendation! The guy that makes the glasses is so nice, felt good to support a small business like that

Quality is great, the price a year ago was 450 pesos, not sure what it is today

I am wearing a pair of their frames right now. I have 3 different palo santo frames, one is wood, the other two are actually fabric- fabric reinforced with resin. They are tough as nails, and I am really really tough on glasses- I am a welder and metalworker.
I also have a couple of pairs of frames from Nomade, in Tandil, who make some from wood, and others from the highest quality italian plastic.
All of mine are prescription, daily use frames.
Both Palo Santo and Nomade have gone up in cost, like everything else.
They are more than cheap chinese frames, and a fraction of the cost of fancy euro designer frames.

Nomade- https://www.nomadeanteojos.com/

this is the current cloth frame from Palo Santo- mine are older, and I have both yellow and green.
