I know that TIVO is a USA based service but is their an equivalent service here? With the death of VCRs, there does not appear to be a means to record live television.

Ideally I would like to be able to record "Bailando por un sueño" so I can fast forward through the inane talking by Marcelo Hugo Tinelli that happens between the dancing.

Any ideas besides a TV card for the PC?

Thanks

I assume you have cable. Direct TV which is available does offer a DVR.

Cablevision also offers a DVR, but there is an expensive deposite for it (atleast 3 weeks ago) and it will also depend on the area you live in. I went with DirecTV since they now have promo-special and I'm currenly enjoying my DVR features.
