To beef or not to beef..that is the question

Is anybody out there really considering not buying beef? I'm not an Argentinian by birth but I am for anything that will make things that I want cheaper.The problem is that I am dying for a bife de chorizo right now. When I go out and buy one in a few minutes am I going to be a scab crossing the picket line?
