Tom Tom 630 GPS (Sat Nav) for sale

Hi,

Selling in Shops for 1800, will sell for 1600 or nearest offer. Works in Argentina, Brasil and Uruguay.

It's never been used, is still sealed in box and is brand new. The reason I want to sell it is because we bought one for a road trip around Argentina, it was faulty so we had to buy another one whilst away. We took the Tom Tom back to the shop and Tom Tom sent us a brand new one back. Bit of a mouth full!

I can vouch for Tom Toms- we had a Tom Tom, same model, in Europe whilst living in a camper van for 2 years and it was brilliant.

I am currently researching how GPS systems/devices work for cars here, and was hoping you could answer a few questions that I had.
1) Are there fees associated with receiving new content (updated maps, business directories etc.)?
2) Do these devices have voice directions as an option?
3) Does there exist traffic data?

1. It's a Tom Tom so I think you have to pay for updates.
2. Yes there are directions in voice and in many languages.
3. I'm not sure what you mean by this questions.

Tom Tom are, in my opinion, the best GPS devices. We did 50,000 plus, miles, with ours in Europe. This one is for Argentina, Brasil and Uruguay. It's brand new, never been opened. We bought one for the Copa America, set off and got 10 miles before it went haywire. We had to keep on going though as we had a match to catch in Sante Fe, had to buy another in Rosario and took this back after the Copa. They wouldn't give our money back but they gave us a brand new one as it couldn't be fixed.

Like I say we use them all the time and also go for Tom Tom as we've had the best results, we just dont need this one.
